Observing Young Love and Chivalry

We were walking down the beach today. A bit ahead of us was a young couple who were acting so romantic. The young man picked his girl up in his arms and twirled her around and carried her gently across the sand, all while passionately kissing. He finally set her down and walked further down the beach, hand in hand.

I said to Kamryn, "Oh, how romantic. Did you see that?"  Kamryn replies, "Yeah, that was cute, but he still made her carry all his stuff."

Lol. True. She was holding two back packs, and shoes all the way back to the car. Granted, he did carry her part of the way, but....still.
