Learning a New Language

I've heard it said that people love differently.  There are 5 love languages.

Words of affirmation

Quality Time

Acts of service

Receiving gifts

Physical touch

These are the ways we like to be shown love. I am sure, as I do, that most people enjoy and show love in all five ways.  However, there is often one language that prevails in each person.

Usually, they are also the way we CHOOSE to show love.

I have a hard time believing I can be loved by someone who never or rarely wants to spend any quality time with me. I need quality conversation that is real, honest, and reciprocal.  Without it, I feel love lost.

I guess I have a lot many more languages to learn.
